Happy Engrish time!

Surprisingly, Hong Kong isn't very Engrishful. For the most part, they have better grammar and spelling than in the US. Those Asian kids sure do love to study. Also, they were a British colony for a while. So, yeah. Not much Engrish action going on.

I did, however come across what seems to be a fad (?). I'm not sure if these are done on purpose or if they really are just poor translations. But since the only Engrish I noticed was on coin purses, I don't know. Seems purposefully done. Whatever be the case, I have never giggled at coin purses like I did at these.

Unemployed men are less gloryful.

Apparently the pine needs a cool 5 mil. Probably lost it all at the race track. Or, to hookers and blow.

If you can't see it, the leftmost one says, "RARE LIFE & AWAY MONEY" [sic] - your guess is as good as mine.

Okay, so this isn't really incorrect or anything, but come on. "LITTER CUM." Seriously. Funny.

  1. Psh, HK is super Engrishful to those of us who only speak English without knowing exactly what the grammatical structure is supposed to be.

If I hadn't been busy looking at stuff I'd have taken pictures as examples to show you when we return to Mactown.

Two guesses as to who this is by the way.
    Or is it whom?

Who knows, anyway I can't believe you told me to try that stinky tofu. I wonder if you'll read this before we make it back. Hm, anyway remember how I told you about making up voices in my head when I read a story? And how I don't have to do that for yours? Haha, totally did that.

    Anyway,
    See ya.
